A Day on the River Blackwater for some sea kayak training.

Bradwell waterside slipway.
Ready to be on the water at 10:00.

Come with:
All kit required for a lead sea day trip, what ever your level.
A short paddle plan including weather forecast.
An open and positive mind, this includes a smile.
The knowledge that you will get wet. Everyone will receive a swim sticker at the end, including me.

If you have any questions or reservations please come and have a chat with me (Barry).

I'm interested in this one Barry. However I have a few questions:

1. Would I be able to borrow your sea boat again, or do you think I should bring mine? Would it be OK if the weather is fine?

2. I can have a weather forecast to hand, but being totally honest, I'm not sure what a 'paddle plan' involves? Please could you advise?

3. Is Bradwell Waterside slipway the one at the marina where I used to go fishing from?

I can find an open and positive mind (and a smile). I'm not worried about getting wet. If I coped with it in February, then May should be positively tropical 😉

1: Yes you can but it might worth taking your boat if you get a chance beforehand to use it in the wild. It all depends on the days conditions.

2: Paddle plan = a basic idea of where you might be paddling and the direction you would be going, tides, weather and distance but don't stress out on this one it's designed to make you all think about the environmental consequences (to Beast or not to Beast).

3: Go past Bradwell marina and just keep going until you get to the end of the road "your there". We will park in the Marina car park, after unloading.

Barry,
I could do with training my sea kayak.
It doesn’t do a thing I tell it.
I’ll be there.

Can you all have a think for me, please? If one of you have a Surf kayak something like a Mega or just as good getting dusty could you keep me in mind as I am looking for one?

I all ways said to my self when I went back to Saunton next door to Woolacombe I would go back with a Surf Kayak.

Last time we were there was with my old G3 which worked well. Plus looks like weekend are my own (know Kids)

So please keep me in mind, thanks mark
