Thanks to everybody for a good paddle today.

A big thank you to our organiser for sorting the weather and to our secretary for gathering names and taking money.
We had representations from Tendring, Colchester, Braintree, M.A.D. and of course Bramston.
A total of 8 open boats, 10 kayaks and 24 paddlers made a really enjoyable day.
A shame some of the MAD lot didn’t know where they were, when everybody else stopped for lunch, but we suspect they just didn’t want share!
A big well done to Matthew who paddled in the front of a huge boat all that way and Dad only paddled when he turned round :D, well done Katie who was full of cold but refused to accept a tow or a free ride but was still smiling at the end, an amazing start to hopefully a long paddling career for Elle who on the first trip in a kayak more than managed to keep up and without any lunch!

Not forgetting the drivers running the extra shuttle miles and for sightseeing trips around Essex.
