A nice paddle from Bures down to Nayland in Constable Country.

Meeting Sunday 8th January, 9.30am at Bures Recreation Ground CO8 5BX.

We will then arrange a car shuttle to leave cars at Nayland (CO6 4JP) and head back to Bures to hopefully be on the water by 10.30 am. We should be off the water by 3pm.

This is a nice paddle through lovely countryside, there are 3 or 4 weirs en-route which can be easily portaged if you don’t fancy shooting them. Please wear suitable warm clothing and don’t forget to bring snacks/lunch and a warm drink.

Suitable for kayaks and open boats.

If you want to come along but are unsure about anything please ask. If you want to come but don’t have a boat then please ask a club coach or committee member as we may well be able to help, the club has some boats available to hire.
