A couple of little cheeky week day paddles

On Tuesday 18th October there was a BIG tide expected a 6.4. So Clive, Anna and Myself in our sea boats, went for a short trip on the salty side of Maldon and Heybridge. Starting at Heybridge basin and riding the tide in through Maldon, limboing under the fullbridge then up to and over the top of Beeleigh weir spot on High water.  The return journey was much faster with the wind behind us, meeting Chris at the Basin for some rehydration in the pub. Much better than being at work!

Then on Thursday afternoon Chris, Clive, Peter, Albert and Myself had a quick trip from Hoe mill to Rushes and back for some playing in the (smallest) stopper I’ve ever seen!

So if you ever want to go for a “cheeky weekday paddle” put it out there I’m sure someone will want to join you.
