December 3rd -4th Winter Wild camp

Looking at Paddling Sea Kayaks from: Heybridge Basin on Saturday to be on the water for 08:30 to catch the tide.

Returning to Bradwell on Sunday we will need to setup a car shuttle on Friday evening or Saturday morning.

(unless you want a long day on Sunday back to Heybridge 22:00?)

There is a shorter paddle option for Saturday if anyone wants to Depart from Bradwell, we can pick you up as we pass. I believe a couple of guys can’t stay and camp, they will do a night paddle probably back to Tollesbury TBC.

What to expect: We will paddle with the ebb tide on Saturday expecting to arrive at Sails Point, Bradwell around Noon. We will establish camp, have lunch, go for a walk, gather fire wood and hunker down for the evening by the fire. Bring extra warm clothes, plenty food and drink. On Sunday morning we’ll break camp, pack boats and head back against the out going tide back to Bradwell. Maybe the pub will be open for a lunchtime pint.
