The hope is that we’ll never need it but what if?

I have had experience where this card has been used during a emergency hand-over at sea to the RNLI. I encourage everyone to carry one in there buoyancy aid pocket and make it known to the team. If you paddle alone, with a couple of mates or on a club organised trip, it will help your buddies or trip Leader/Coach to help you quicker ‘if something bad happens’.

Its easy to do:

From the Home Page click on Document Library

Then click Medical Card and download is to your computer.

You then can edit it and add all of your relevant Personal, Next of Kin, Contact details, Doctors and Prescribed Meds. The form is laid out to help you, its easy!

As you can tell I’ve just up-dated mine, I then print them off, fold the card and Laminate them ready to pop into my various buoyancy aids. I’ve also put extra copies in my car and work van. YOU NEVER KNOW.
